Well the clutch does work like a regular clutch as you say but not the way he is using it. The system has a microswitch so that when u hit the gearshift it cuts the ignition for a few thousandths of a second to unload the driving gear pair. Just like on a motorbike when you do clutchless changes you release the throttle just a tiny bit for the same reason or you can't effect the change cleanly.

i never said how much money was put in it. i can find one already built for 45000 most that will make 1000 or more ponies. fuck spending 1.6 mill on something that will cost you a few grand just to maintain the fuckin thing. supra oilo change=50, veyron=i dont know exact but waaay to much. gotta go to a specialty shop and everything to have it done right. so fuck you and your gay ass bugatti. it aint shit.

I just think that "Driver etiquette" doesn't mean as much on the track as it does on the street. I mean, yeah, its kind of stupid that he went a bit on the grass, but its a race. Faster drivers up front. As long as you don't deliberately take out other drivers, which he didn't, then I don't see the problem.

Good luck finding a decent Supra for under $35,000, let alone spending the money to mod it. I mean, you could find one for like, 10 grand, but it probably has 200,000 miles has been beat to hell.

A lot of track events cater to novie drivers- So yes, USUALLY- they should wait behind (Or only pass on designated straights). But when this happens the slower cars get flagged and the faster car is allowed to pass.That shit aside, i highly doubt that was the case with this event and i agree.
