I understand what you're saying. It would give the song something of untouchability, a legendary status that says: "The song that could never be played live, it's that special".On the other hand, if that was the case, we would never have seen this great performance ;)

They should never have played this song live.I mean, I love this song and I'm a big fan of the Doors, but I really think this song is somewhat of a cult song, and it would have been really cool if they had refused to play it in gigs. That would have been sweet.
