I love BOC, I seen 'em as the the "soft white under belly" and they rocked the place. Some minors/underage hip-hop douchebags never understood the notoriety of this band. let them that don't understand be destined to clean men's rooms in a public venue!

I saw B.O.C. in this shitty little X Disco joint in Cleveland, and they rocked BALLS! About 10 years ago, at least, 10 thousand beers, who gives a fuck? Buck Dharama, or Don, gave me the hairy eyeball because I was staring at his fretboard the whole time. This song has been a big part of my guitar playing for almost 30 years. 30 years later, I can nail most of the leads This is a song for the ages, if it doesn't grab you by the balls, you have none!

Yes; but I was referring not just to the fact of opening for a band. The odd thing that I wanted to point out is when some group of unknown open for you because you're "the band". Then a couple of years later that same group becomes "the mega band" way more popular than you and then you end up opening concerts for them. That must suck!!!!!! Kind of what happened to Brenda K. Starr and her "chorus girl" Mariah Carey. |
