lol...not too much on ms. sheard...but, i will admit, whitney had it back in the day, but now.......A HORRID MESS!!!!!! but, i give her props....FROM BACK IN THE DAY! but, you have to admit, karen is a VERY powerful soprano.

it's not all about runs. It's about power, tone, beauty, and vocal control. In her prime Whitney had more beauty, and vocal control than Karen. I do love Karen's voice, but all that running and growling gets annoying afterwhile. I could listen to Whitney's voice all day.

i agree. i'm sorry but whitney's voice was like water. karen is more soulful but whitney's voice was so pure that she never got raspy, no matter how powerful the note.
