You could count all of GNR's good songs on one hand & you've listened to more than the greatest hit's album? What was the other one "the spaghetti incident"? Have you by any chance ever spun "Appetite"?? It's only the greatest & best selling debut in the history of music & you think GNR was about the money? Sorry but your way off on that assesment.Metallica rocks but they never put out anything as raw as Appetite.Without Rubin this new album would have blown too.

GnR were cool, but Metallica has been doing it for over 25 years, have original members except bass player, and that's only because Cliff died, they will be inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame in 2009, after 3 luke warm studio albums, they have returned to greatness with Death Magnetic, and ALL nu-metal bands were influenced by them.GnR were cool too, but they weren't around long enough.
