This is my Nintendo Wii Controlled Smart Home. Using the Wii-Mote and my Nintendo Wii, I have an onscreen Flash User Interface that lets me control the following aspects of my home: Lights, Thermostat, Security Camera, Music Playback, Cable DVR, and more.

yesss im sure beacase im working on a progect to do it too.(but you have to hack your wii to do the bluetooth by voice)

Not really. Bluetooth controller is plenty fast. Wifi is plenty fast. PLM/Insteon protocol is pretty fast. Each of these steps takes less than 1/100th of a second. The slowest part might be the web server itself.

Why not just send the smart home codes directly from the web server? It's really not that hard.

if thats running on vista you can use speech recognition whith it and use a bluetooth mic to do it wireless by voice |
