Thank you so much!My mother used to sing this to me when I was little (although I only she only ever sang the refrain), and her mother sang it to her as a child. I'll definitely sing it to my children one day, God willing. [That I have children - not that I'll be able to sing! I'm a singer. :)]This is the best version on youtube, definitely! And although my dad never sang this song to me, your voice is very similar to him. Beautiful!

Almost as good as my Dad sang to me. But then, I was born on St. Patrick's Day and love this song the most. Love My Wild Irish Rose too. All of them are great!

Simply beautiful. I sing this song to my 6 year old son to help him sleep... and someday I hope to dance with him to this very tune at his wedding.
