Reflex by Airhogs vs. Helix Helicopter- Comparison test!!

"elevator" helicopter differences in the Helix & Reflex. The Reflex Helicopter gets it's name because the blades have more "REFLEX" than the HELIX. That is, the blade "coning angle" is deeper. Fixed pitch bladed helicopters are more stable with this kind of increased blade coning angle. Also, the new charger has a LiPo regulator attached for safer charging of the LiPo batteries.The REFLEX has a cooling vent in the fuselage near the front.All in all they look the same, but the REFLEX is more stable and seems to have more power than my old trusty HELIX. I like them both and think the modifications by Airhogs are a positive improvement.Happy flying and thanks for watching.

The new Reflexes come with regulators built into the machine. When the Helix was recalled, their quick fix was to rename it the Helix and then give out a new charger. Yep, they all need charged properly and no lipos can be fast charged or they will blow up.

the reflex dosnt have a regulator for the charger. i just got a reflex and it dosnt have a regulator.the only thing i dont like about the reflex is that charging time talkes about 2 hours and flight time is like only 10 mins. thats the only thing i dont like about. my next target is the sirhogs cyclone. looks petty fun. then im getting the gyrotor.

You can't buy the Helix for over a year, only the Reflex. WalMart sells em for $69.

Thanks kindly. All Targets and Walmarts sell the Reflex, as the Helix was recalled for battery charging problems, otherwise they are the same.Good luck and glad your havening fun with it.

Came across you video while looking for an indoor helicopter,I went straight out and tried to find the reflex but had no luck after a couple of weeks of searching i got a helix.I must say it is great fun nice little heli.
