What about Asians? They're illegal immigrants. So are Mexicans. African-Americans don't count because they were taken against their will.

So Brazil invaded Paraguay to protect free trade. I don't blame Brazil because a country got to do what a country got to do in order to benefit itself. Its all about the survival of the fittest and the smartest, and aperently Paraguay wasn't a srtong enough nation to have fought back against the Brazilian military. But do you truly know the motives for invaving Iraq? Are you an expert in the foreign policy of the U.S? Or are you doing what most of the people in the world are doing, guessing?

... the 20th century, every Brazilian administration depended on a very unpopular single-party dictatorship (of the Colorados), and now, that they have finnaly lost their power and the liberals regained control of the country, we are in deep trouble. That was our own fault

... there are going to occur other 9/11s. But you are right, other countries have interests there, like Great Britain (which was also attacked by Al Qaeda), that doesn't chage the fact that this kind of behavior is terrible for these countries and its people, allways causing blowback. Now we have a nationalist government in Paraguay that wants to change its policy towards Brazil, demanding higher prices for the energy we take from Itaipu Dam, that happens because once and then throughout...

Actually Brazil was once inAmerica's shoe when invaded Paraguay in the 19th century in order to protect free trade in River Prata. Thousands died and Paraguay became the weakest nation in South America, instead of its optimistic perspectives before the war. You said it's not a war for oil but almost every argument of yours its about U.S. bependency on foreign oil. If America remais with such vision of the world (I still depend on these dictators so to hell with what happens in their countries)
