Ukrainians,as the Russians too, came very late in the region, for only 1000 years, and they had been Christianized and civilized by the only nation living in the area, the Romanians. Romanians, or their antique name Thracian or Dacins are the oldest nation on earth and the oldest habitants of the eastern Europe, or Old Europe, as some scientists are colling them.
