thats your opinion and honestly if you think song writing is a about cliche's then thats cool, but Erik Mongrain is a genius and IMO much more musical than andy mckee....

He's certainly talented at playing the instrument... but I have to say that songwriting is kind of weak. I mean sure it sounds good but after a while it reminds of Dragonforce-esque wankery. I prefer Andy McKee's playing much more, he can really nail the songwriting aspect.
