Haha yeah. I think the sound varies from person to person. I can't hear the whining sound I heard anymore though D: lol

I got more of a boom then ringing for the next 5 minutes, god that was awesome just seeing peoples lips move but nothing come out

Haha, that must've been fun... it's kinda cool how it's like a "boom" for a quarter of a second, and then high-pitched whining and the sound of wind blowing in a sea shell...

bro its the prolonged exposore, thats how I ended up shooting a 12 guage with out hearing protection, totally forgot that i was not wearing hearing protection and it was only .22s so it was not a big deal to me untill I pulled that trigger

yea I love .22 first gun that got me intrested into fire arms, hardly a bang, but none the less you will go deaf after being exposed to it long enough, I know a women who shot .22s her whole life with no protection, she is completely deaf

Have you ever fired a 10/22 Ruger? The first shots leave your ears with a buzz, but once you get used to it it's really no louder than an airsoft gun.
