Bill Evans is my favorite jazz artist. I've heard them all, studied them all. They've all changed and enriched my life in many, many ways. Bill's impact on me has been much profound than the impact of any of the others.

He appeared for a season, gifted in elegant brooding fashion - distinct & divine... this bill evans' video is the perfect example of how a pianist should play. you don't need to make your piano playing look fancy, all you have to is put your head facing down, close your eyes, and let the music come from you.
