DAO guns have their place in my opinion. I like them as compact carry pieces(think mini Glock or Kel Tec), as training wheels for teaching a new shooter, or as dummy-proof defensive weapons for those who don't shoot much. Otherwise, I think SA only, DA/SA, or some sort of light DA is best for a full size fighting handgun. Why limit yourself when you don't have to? BTW, I'm picking up my P225 tomorrow!! :-)

Thank you. I still think that they are about the same, I think it's really a matter of preference.

Mainly I like my XD over Glocks due to the added grip safety, and customer service.

I guess I should have accounted for people's stupidity when I posted that comment. That tells me nothing, give me a reason, not just opinionated bullshit.
NSTLLLL (April 1, 2008 at 3:15 am)
Because it's an overall better gun.
iunnox666 (March 17, 2008 at 6:28 pm)
Why do you try to sell the XD over the Glock?
iunnox666 (March 17, 2008 at 6:25 pm)
It's shorter, but it actually has more power. Its overloaded I guess.
