This is a top notch emulation of the Atari ST. So good in fact that it works as a pretty good Amiga subsitute emulator since they were ROUGHLY comparable and had many of the same games ported to each other. The Amiga emulator via uae4all v0.5.1 works well but isn't so fast. See that emulator at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

Haha zool! Nice emulation, very smooth apart from a couple of hiccups with pointer and interrupted loader. That game was was one huge advertisement.

any way of porting this to a DS? i've seen GEOS and mini-vmac on it.

Im awful at maths, so I could never develop an app for the GP2X, But if I could - that touch screen would be put to good use :DThe DS is crying out for a proper "touch game" where you can have a picture of a female model, and remove the clothing layers ;)... lolOther proper apps I would make would be good chess and battleships games, wireless versions too :)

The mac, atari st, and amiga emulators will rock so much with a touch screen. I can't say for very many other apps though.

Looking forward to the new gp2x! The touch-screen on it will make keyboard inputs SO much easier! And I suppose using the screen to move the mouse around would be great too, but not many games used the mouse. But at least those paint apps will be of use :) and especially the trackball style games like arkanoid :)

Funny you mention that. I got the full version of Zool free with one of the old Amiga magazines.

.ST files larger than 720 KBs must be converted into 2 .MSA files using "MSA Converter 2.1", as ST disks with more tracks or more sectors per track will not be accessible on the PC. Just format them on the ST using e.g. the "M-DISK 6.94" accessory (2 sides, 80 tracks, 9 sectors) - formatting from the desktop will also work on TOS versions 1.4 ("Rainbow TOS") and newer. On the ST side, you can unpack .MSA files using MSA 2.3+ or JayMSA.
