Really thats funny because I have owned a couple of GM vehicles, 2 of them were only a couple of years old at the time, and I experienced problems out of all of them. Every car manufactorer has their problems. I've seen new Vettes dump their rear ends after only a couple of launches so what's the excuse on that?

Thats funny because GMC didn't make a car. They make vans, trucks and suvs. I never hear anything about Chevys transmissions going out, all I hear is Dodge and Ford trannys are notorious for going out. The 454ss had a crappy fuel injection and the heads were shitty. Swap on some better heads on the 454 and you'll see a big power gain.
