It was a Caiman which are nothing compared to a Crocodile. People keep Caimans as pets theyre so small.

If the jaguars had drowned it, it would've thrashed around.It clearly bit it at the base of its skull.

There is a soft spot behind the eyes at the base of crocodilian skulls, stabbing and/or shooting a crocodile/caiman/alligator there normally will instantly kill it.

i don't see how it could drown a caiman. i mean, they lurk under water for long periods of time naturally.

no way did it drown the caiman!!! They can stay submerged for A LONG time. It obviously was biting its neck or large artery etc
