It's not that, I just don't get why people oogle this thing like it's the greatest? I'm not against any tool to create music, I can't say I am a huge fan of rap music but I respect it for the talent that it contains (or sometimes doesn't lol).I just feel there are better/easier ways of doing what the mpc does.Just an opinion. I hear the mpc does some interesting things to samples (like make them sound good).

ARe you saying you don't get the allure of the machine? I suspect your view is so biased because of its relation to rap msic? for one thing it saves the space/expense of actually owning a drum set. Also it has many other features like pluggin in a keyboard and guitar as well as rendering your creation. With deft hands , its useful for any genre.
