The reason why your doing what you always do, sin. Is maybe because the whole idea of asking Jesus into your heart is nowhere to be found in scripture. Watch Paul Washer, Who addresses this modern christian idea. God truly leads his people to repentance, you need to look into scripture to see how God saves. Jesus Christ doesn't come into your heart, he gives you a new heart; Ezekiel 36:22-32 -This is what God does to a unregenerate heart.

Having Jesus in your heart can indeed make a dramatic change in your life, but sometimes, for me, it's like I sometimes follow God's word, and sometimes, I don't. Whenever I hear this song, it reminds me that God is with me and will always forgive me, but then, later, I'm back to doing what I always do, forgetting about God and his word...I still love this song! It always brings me back to God
