Cate the great!!I love all her performances in films.She always played different roles.Elizabeth was an amazing role..She should win the Oscar then...But ok..she has one now from Aviator..!

I don't know anyone in the industry who has a perfect CV. So, I think poor films will happen to every actor but it's the performances which make me stand up and take notice. Cate is an actress who elevates poor material, even that of TGA.

i agree she has done some amazing films, but i thought a bunch of them, The Missing, Veronica Guerin, Life Aquatic and especially Elizabeth the Golden Age were poor choices. Alot of the films she's in are ok films, but she's usually the best thing in them. Just my opinion tho.
