i told u legendDZ the chili peppers formed at 1979 then they were called the red hot chili peppers before that when they were a garage band (that was when they played at my grandma and grandpa's house)they were only called the chili's at the time

I got to see RHCP in 1991 at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC. Two bands I had never heard of opened for them that night. 3rd billing, really small on the Marquee, was a band called Pearl Jam and 2nd billing, a bit more well known at the time, was a band called Smashing Pumpkins. Good grief was that an amazing show. Years later some rock magazine, Spin I think, listed it as one of the 10 best rock shows ever.

"some Chili Peppers fan"Maybe they are new to the Chilis, maybe they don't usually listen to this genre of music. Seriously, why put someone down when all they did was exhibit some good taste - positive comment for the song, positive comment for the musician. Does it matter they aren't familiar with the band member's names? It's all good.

technically they were, tony flow and the miraculous masters of mayhem formed in 1979. later on changing there name to red hot chili peppers

ROCK BAND DLC NEXT WEEK BABY! Lol I was getting pretty pissed at harmonix for no RHCP DLC but now I'm happy one of my favorite songs along with Tell Me Baby coming to rock band.
