I think one of the greatest problem of anarchism is defending itself against its opponents.I believe true anarchism can only work in a world so perfect that there are almost no more trace of ignorance, hate, mistrust, greed, poverty and every other bad things conceivable in this society.Any trace, or hint of a problem will potentially disrupt the stability of an anarchic society and propagate to a major crisis and ultimately complete chaos.So, for now, I will go with the state:)

'Privatizing government is like making rape consensual'...seriously...WHAT!?! could u provide a better metaphor which is not debatable in itself?and again, by saying that private voluntary organisations provide 'gov' services, u're pointing out to the need of a gov! its like..to say 'not P', u gotta have a P ...deductive logic?..anybody?

Privatizing government is like making rape consensual -- it is no longer rape in that case, and if private competitive voluntary organizations provide certain government services, it is no longer anything to do with a government...

I wud agree with tetraedronico when he says its nothing but privatisation of government...besides, the biggest risk thaat Anarchy (as the State itself) runs, is lack of accountability...

3.U say it works best in the most adverse conditions..but it is firstly necessary to find out a.what form of Government was in existence which caused the adversity? b. Anarchy works in adversity, but are we sure that it would not cause adversity itself over a period of time or is that again just an assumption?I feel that more than anarchy using democratic principles, it is anarchy that uses democratic principles, considering democracy originated earlier...
