I have the ipod touch 2g and I must say : If you turn the volume up to max the sound is awful.... Less sounds much better.

the full loudnes of touch 2g in everything is at the 1/4 of my old ercson k750..almost useless.. you barely hear it alone..btw i had my ears tested lately in a chek up and i was in perfect health there..
