I'm with you on this. The bluesy feel is missing here. I love a good balls-out shred solo as much as the next guy, buy it seems out of place for Nightrain.

Keanu Reeves is The One, Slash is just a badass rock guitarist who can't get along with Axl, and vice versa. And would you be happier if every guitarist in Guns n' Roses copied Slash, and added nothing original to the music? I dunno about you, but to me that sounds kinda boring.

Your right my friend, there's more passion from Slash. Bumblefoot is a really good guitarist but remember only five guys could have made that band: Axl,Izzy,Slash,Duff & Steven.

i'm sure these guys are a lot better technique-wise, but slash has the feel and i like his stuff a lot better. all this metal-like shred dont really fit into the more bluesy kinda stuff slash made, i think.

Amen GraemeSinclair!Perfectly said. We should all love and respect Slash and Izzy's contributions to Guns N' Roses- BUT Bumblefoot and Fortus leave them in the dust from a technical perspective. It's not even close. Song writing? That's a different question... at least until Chinese Democracy comes out.
