I've never heared about it dellsprospects 22.But a great mistake everybody commit is: Brazil is monkey country but we, for example, are the pioneers in car motors that works with 2 different kinds of fuel;photografy, airplane, wristwatch, shower, electric guitar and many other things i could put here.Sao Paulo is the 3rd biggest city on Earth, bigger than New York (territorial extension),the State of Sao Paulo is a country inside Brazil - we're completely different from the rest of Brazil

isn't sao paulo where those super healthy mushrooms grow naturally and people don't get sick, or that is bullshit?

This movie isnt a reference to the country. Besides they use the music, "Brazil" is a old mythical land in a traditional Irish legendy. I believe, Thomas Morus used this legend to do his "Utopia". BTW, this name was give to the wood portugueses found here and they used this name to the new land.

It's only a matter of time until the world of brazil becomes a reality. Technology is advancing faster than society knows what to do with it. As this newfangled technology grows so does the required bureaucracy. We'll be filling section 16's before we know it...

It's a reference to the song, which is a reference to the country. Among other things, the movie is about escapism, and Brazil is a place to escape to.It's neither insulting nor flattering to the country. If you take offense, it's due to your own misperception.

People are not gonna forget the country or disrespect it just because ONE movie is called brazil. |
