Or...people should just think for themselves and not parrot other peoples opinions just cause it's "cool". This game is still a nice atmospheric game nonetheless. James earlier videos are mostly exaggerated for entertainment value, he doesnt even hate half the games he flames.

You do know that James is hardly serious about most of the games he flames right? especially in his earlier videos. They were made just for fun mostly. Castlevania 2 is pretty good regardless, just another kind of game then most of the other straight forward ones. And no, the new games nowaday don't kick ass. Most of them are all graphics and no creativity whatsoever.

Items are so expensive and don't add up much. Kind of like Dragon Quest series. Weird hearts used as money instead of life.
