Ranked from the most likely to least likely (you're more likely to get one via #1 than the other four *combined* but yea, first you have to kill the thing =P)- Carve one from a dead Lao (the nine carves is your *real* reward for killing a Lao, so make sure you have Fast Carving when you do kill it!)- Complete Lao quest and get one from amongst the quest rewards (even repel is okay)- Break Lao's horn- Break the protruding scales on Lao's back- Break the shoulder plates on Lao's front legs

If I'm not mistaken, the so-called 'Seven Stars' doesn't even allow for Pellet shots. Without Pellet shots, you cannot exploit the bug shown in the video, and thus, it doesn't matter whether the gun is upgraded or not, whether you have Heroics or not, or what ammo you may choose to use.Of course, you could activate skills to allow for Pellet shots, but there's really no reason to be even going to such lengths. Find a gun that accepts Pellet shots naturally.

i know it is not much of the reply to watever it is but would seven stars upgraded all the way work and without felyne heroics work. and wat bullets should i use
