I was in 8th grade at Harbor Ridge Middle School in Gig Harbor. That school is so old; I'm surprised it didn't collapse! The portable that I was in when it happened was knocked off its foundation.

The earthquake lasted about 20 sec, but it surely felt like 2 hours long. It wasn't bad at all, but what bothers me is that there's no certainty about the future ones if it happens.

hahaha i remember that, i was in fourth grade playing my nintendo 64 when that earth started moving, i stayed home from school, but at first i though it was the washer or something then it got really voilent and my mom rushed in my room and threw me under a table

Even here in Spokane we got that quake... I never felt it, but we had a lot of cracks in the cement of the carport.
