i am a female who believes that men should spend as much time with their kids as women do b/c they should have as good a relationship with them. I believe that kids need their moms as much as they need their dads and that they should not have to take on sole breadwinner roles b/c this hampers their relationship with their children. However whenever i talk about this, it is men who say that this is not true. that women naturally have a stronger bond with kids etc. you can't have it both ways

Ah disannAPP ...and you won't find many women working in sewers, digging ditches or working in too many foundries either - you know the shit jobs - nope women deserve equal pay for things like air-conditioned social work, air-conditioned offices as expert witnesses providing perjured affadavits, air-conditioned tax-payer funded offices making up wymyn studies out of thin air, air-conditioned SUV's fabricating evidence in the morning so they can go shopping with tax-payer money in the afternoon.

Gosh the presenter is stupid and irritating. Still, I'm glad this stuff is being discussed.

Young Single Childless Women earn 117 % of Young Single Childless Men. So women make more money than men - when they work. That's a fact. It makes a lot of sense since women control all the institutions of higher learning and in fact comprise the vast majority of gender in every class in all Universities. And that wage gap that favours women wil continue to grow and grow !

Well now you are contradicting yourself disannAPP. Men work longer hours at jobs that are much much more dangerous that possible paper cuts. Plus women have babies and take considerably longer on maternity leave.

Yes I agree with you disannAPP that economics play a factor especially when Dads are constantly being repeatedly and deliberately, falsely and maliciously accused of everything from rape to sexual abuse and a whole host of over no evidence crimes against their children by women many of whom are starngers that come out of the woodwork - And then these same women want their slave support too - of course.

Hi there again! At the same time; again there's another problem and that's the economic uneqaulity between the sexes concerning money and time. Because many women have, without doubt, experienced the unbalanced wages that makes women dependent to their men and the man forced into the role of the economic supporter of the family.

Deflect? I'm sorry bethere51, but I hope that both of us do agree that the headlines of theese clips discussed is "Men, maleness and equality". I noticed how little attention that was paid to the relationship between fathers and the children, especially among divorced and working parents. I understood that economy and time is probably is one quite big obstacle for fathers if they want to be able to spend time with their kids, which is shown again and agin being important for the child.
