Ducats? That's an extremely old term, which was used in Italy or something. I don't know, but I remember it was the term used for money in 'The Merchant of Venice', but it's not so much a term, more of a currency. x

My favorite word for money is something I first heard in the Midwest: ducats. Not sure if that's where it's most commonly used in the US, but it appears to not be very popular. I think this has also been shortened to "ducks", but that's even less common.

Take a walk in the sun and laugh out loud. Then go see a funny movie. Then browse in a book store and smile at everyone. Then go out to eat. Then go home and read a really good book. Then take a warm bath and watch "Saturday Night Live" on TV. That should just about do it!!
