Well, he's not talking about "that" type of crowd phenomena, obviously. And there's no need to offend Americans b/c of the small speech detail I mentioned (it may be a regional thing). I'm an American too. I expect and have seen great things coming from Americans, as well as people from other nationalities.

Hey he's an American, what do you expect? BTW I don't get this talk. There's also the phenomenon of crowd hysteria which can lead to lynch mobs, trial by media etc. etc. Crowds can present the dominant viewpoint and commonsense, but they can also be manipulated and are not 'always' smarter in my humble opinion. But then 'the crowd' would probably disagree with me :)
