By the way you know that microsoft didn't invented dos. Bill's friend Allen knows a guy , name Patterson has a n operating system called dos and Allen bought it for $50000.

Though, I would never touch a Mac myself because its UI is lousy and the OS doesn't operate to my need. different people have their own oppinions though ;)

The simple factor is that Microsoft has games, high performance applications and everything else on its side, Mac will never have the upper hand and there is many more windows users than mac in this world, imo linux could be better then both if enough things supported it. however I will agree Mac's can be good for college/multimedia use.

Seems like you're full of sh*t yourself. The fact that PCs can be a total mish-mash of different parts with bad operating system to top it all off, means it will always be inferior to the Mac. I used to have PCs and was actually an expert at building them. In the end the viruses, spyware and stupid crashes (even in brand new, unmodified PCs) turned me against them. You MIGHT get more performance for money in PCs, though the latest reports say that Macs outdo PCs in most serious applications.
