Saw this on television when it first aired, and taped it on a beta-vision cassette, no less. Watched it numerous times. Great performance. Part of the whole punk thing, Wendy O. and the Plasmatics were one of my favorite bands growing up. I'm 42, and I am still, admittedly, pissed off. I just can't remember why. Bless you, Wendy, my leather-clad darling. I miss you...

After 8 years of Bush-Cheney, I can now appreciate Wendy and her contempt for the establishment and the status quo. Enron+Countrywide+endless war in Iraq= misery for the common man.

And Tom Snyder! I hope you're resting in peace too. I used to watch your show all the time even though it didn't come on until 1 am. I remember you smoking like a chimney and saying the studio was cold. You & Cosell. Both unique, both great, both outside the box. There's no one who can fill your shoes today, that's for sure. I remember seeing the Plasmastics in Toronto. Wendy and the band were awesome. Butcher Baby is the best (with the chainsaw)!!
