Well he did have camera on his hands, hence "hands on", don't you think? But I know what you mean..

Hand-on, yes. Hands-on TEST, nope. Now if we can just get Newegg to start listing this camera because I have yet to find an online camera seller I can trust.

I can answer that. I got one ;). The camera is incredibly agile, because it can shoot High-Speed (HS), High definition (HD) and normal DVD quality video. On the regular camera side, it takes awesome pictures although it is not a SLR. It has an awesome battery life and the screen has a great resolution. When going through the images you've taken, you can use the scroll-wheel to go through 10 images per second. And the burst-mode is TOTALLY awesome! Many different uses for that mode. - TobZo :)

Well carrying a 30" inch panelled camera may be a bit of a bind but thanks to your post, I can see the merits of multimegapixels. Do you know the scene in Bladerunner where Harrison Ford blows up a photographic image to see a snake, or perhaps a woman wearing a snake?

In the future with 30" panels and ability to zoom in on interesting details most users will love to have as many megapixels they can get.

Hands on? But he just orally listed the specs? The camera doesn't even work, how is this an "hands on" video? He might as well have an "hands on" with a printout of the press release... I want real use experience handed to me on a "watch in high quality" youtube video. grrr

It sounds nice and I've seen some great stuff but I have a feeling that soon or later I will get tired of seeing things in slow-motion. I don't think the image quality is that good. But to those who got it, I wish you all the best with your camera, enjoy the fun ;)
