"starting a war" am i the one who posted this hate video? no. was i impending on science? no. im not busting on science or anything and stop naming off terible sterotypes about christians. thos r only certain denomenations r against homosexuals. and no one ever persucated homosexuals because its not illegal. and i have never heard of a christian fying a plane into a building. ur the one trying to start a war. what ur saying is horrible. u dont see me trying to disprove science.

I don't see that it does. You've placed that idea into the argument based on your idea of a certain way that things should've played out according to You [because of the Christ's purpose, he should've written something]. All that really says is how you would've done something if you were Jesus, which proves little of anything.

My point is that none of the extant words of Socrates we have today were written down by him personally. All we have are Plato's and Xenophon's accounts and writings, and smatterings of Aristotle, kind of. Three sources, none the orginal voice. But Socrates is easily accepted as a true historical, influential figure who actually existed. I think that in this way, the fact that Jesus didn't pen anything doesn't necessarily weigh against his existence.
