Chris Gaffney died on April 17, 2008.In the past few years I think he was reaching his peak as a great singer. I met him 4 years ago in San Francisco, when the Hacienda Brothers were starting out, and have been a fan ever since. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends, especially Jeb, the bands manager, who I know loved him.

Hacienda Brothers put on an outstanding show down at Knuckleheads in Kansas City last evening. Nothing wrong with these guys, they play the right kind of music.
