california jam/74 paid for a semester of college for me. It was played live on a local fm Head station in the Cleveland ohio area at 11:30 at night. A friend and myself built a filter because they put out a jamming signal. We recorded it commercial free on rel to reel then down loaded the efforts on to 8-track and sold them on campus. Boot leg was good to us. Thanks to ELP, Black Sabbath and many others. Great music!!

I was lucky enough to see them a few times touring through Houston in the 70's. Once on Halloween night. Keith had a Jack-O-Lantern on top of the keyboards. What a kick ass band.It's not fair to compare Yes, Wakeman, Genesis, and ELP. I'm a fan of all, and I think their styles, while all progressive rock, are completely different. You're comparing apples and oranges and bananas.

Really. Unless my favourite drummer is Carl Palmer and i like and admire his solos, i like more him in the accompaniment. He is an elegant athlete and a magician of the drums. However, i prefer some solos (hear well: "some")of Bill Bruford.

Concuerdo. No tiene nada que ver una banda con la otra. Un grupo sinfónico actual que esta haciendo buena música, siguiendo con el legado, es Pendragon, lo recomiendo mucho.

Claro, se trata del grupo insignia del rock sinfónico, experimental y sincrético. Y que nadie venga con el cuento de que mejores son Medesky Martin & Wood, pues, son muy buenos, pero son posteriores, del jazz, además están demás las comparaciones innecesarias.
