That and his humor... I love that about him. Flock of Wah-Wahs, references to "dog doo" in Ordinary Average Guy etc... priceless!!

Clapton modest vocal talent? Moron.

Joe's unusual singing voice has always been part of his immense charm and likability. He should be applauded for succeeding in a very tough business despite his vocal limitations. And he's certainly in good company with the likes of Bob Dylan, Randy Newman, Mark Knopfler, even Eric Clapton. All legendary singer/songwriters with modest vocal talent.

You don't have the slightest fucking idea what you're attempting to speak about! Joe's pitch is just fine here!! And if you're so worried about perfect pitch, why are your favorites the Sex Pistols?

Today is James Gang drummer Jim Fox's 61st birthday 8-42-08! I'm a trueblue diehard fan - from 69 to 76 the James Gang put out 9 studio LP's and 1 live LP. I played them all today. As a bassist and guitarist and singer, I appreciate all lineups of the group. Walsh, Troijano, Bolin, Shack, and Webb on guitars. After getting bassist Dale Peters as a replacment for Tom Kriss(Yer album)Dale and Jim Fox would be the only constants in a changing lineup. Now the reunion of Walsh, Peters, and Fox!

I have really good pitch, and it's hard for me to listen to someone singing off key, but Walsh's singing has never bothered me. Now David Lee Roth's voice on Pretty Woman, that's a different story. He's flat all the way through the song. Unlistenable.

Ha ha ha ha ha. The voice fits the compositionshe's created. These are tight, funkful songs and the voice is the twangy icing on the sassy cake.
