My point was that every decent christian couldn't live by every verse in the bible. Most decent people will pick morals from the bible that suit their own moral standards.God called for genocide in the bible and the slaughter of men, women and children, but abortion is wrong? The truth will set you free my friend.

EVERY Christian doesn't do that. You really shouldn't falsely accuse people you don't know. Apparently you've had bad experiences with Christians and I'm sorry about that. But don't judge us all the same. Christians aren't perfect. Only Jesus was.

The same way every christian does.

Jesus himself didn't say it specifically. Jesus said to keep his commandments. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one. What God says, Jesus says. There are many scriptures telling us to not join with the same sex. We are to love homosexual people & treat them with respect. I know homosexual people and I love them dearly and speak in love to them. If you want more detail, I will email you. There are too many scriptures to list here.

i missed the verse where JESUS says he's against same-sex marriage.refresh my memory?

Was talking about his voice, but ok. And either way, we shouldn't be crying about the outcome, considering theres nothing we can do about it.

"Whatever you do for the least of my brothers" which is a scripture in Matthew that Obama sites in this interview. He feels we should help the least of these. Jesus also said to allow little children to come unto him and do not hinder them. Jesus was against murder and same sex marriage. Abortion is murder of a human being in it's earliest stages of life. If he's gonna use one scripture of God's Word to apply to his campaign, how does he justify ignoring the rest?

Obama is not as handsome as The Rock. If you don't vote though, don't complain about the outcome. Unless of course, you're not 18 yet.

Hello there nice person and I already know that you're not Satan. I wouldn't dare say that about you. Just for public record, I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have regarding the Bible. There are many church groups that have it wrong. But there are many that have it right. I have had very good balanced teaching and would love to share with you in private.

1.I am a nice person and I can assure you that I am not satan. Taking scripture out of context to justify ones opinion is essentially what millions of "REAL-christians" do to promote their own beliefs with regard a whole host of comtemporary social issues. If i am in anyway distorting biblical text then by all means provide me with the missing context. Genuinely I find religious text fascinating, so it would be nice to have a perspective from a "REAL christian" send me a private message cheers.
