I kinda agree and disagree.1) If your born with a natural sense of timing then you can be great any many instruments.2) But more important then natural talent is practice.

damn man... I think I feel him as a drummer more than any others I've heard. He has elements of jojo mayer, vinnie, and maybe a couple others that I've really liked. Some of the sticking tricks remind me of buddy rich (by a longshot I guess). Fucking sweet!

Anybody else but me find that that camera guy got waay to close...unless the zoom is that good...he should have used the camera guys head as a cymbal.

Tony's raw physical ability is what separates him from even most of the greats. Watching him behind that kit you can't help but feel you're watching a drumming machine only with taste. We can go back and forth all day about this drummer and that drummer and who's better, but the bottom line is Tony does certain things "no-one" else can even touch and that's primarily because of his strength and speed. A great drummer isn't all that different from a great athlete. They're born, not made.
