Taped in June of 1980 (the same month I got married), here is an on-camera detailed demo of the Japanese Sony Betamax, the SL-J7. This machine was never released in the United States, although it's close in styling and features to the American SL-5800. For its day...this machine was way ahead of its time.

I heard about it through a magazine, and ordered it thru a company in Oregon that was able to import Japanese electronics. I still have this machine, to this day!!
