ok, so hiphop lyrics are really good, i can definitely respect that rap lyrics are better than alot of other genres'. theyre genius in that respectbut hiphop holds no melody! i cant understand how people can enjoy a music without that essential piece..you cant whistle a hiphop tune, you cant recognize the music itself. it appeals to the head, the ability to decipher lyrics is great. but it doesnt hit your chest, you dont feel it tug on your heart strings..please give me your take on it
