JeremiahSola, I think what you're seeing is Tim Duncan taking a breath while we still hear a bass singing. The reason is because Bill Gaither is a bass too. And he's singing while tim takes his breath. Great song by the way, I absolutely LOVE Marshall Hall. For those of you who don't know who that is, it's the curly blonde baritone, who sings the first verse.
