So much in fact they play some Macross 7 music in frontier? Even use it for the pilot trailer? I like all the music in Macross so don't get me wrong but don't bother bashing, this vid was posted for people who enjoyed M7. If you don't like it go back to frontier land. Too bad the ending to frontier is open ended like like 7.

I agree Macross was always about the characters..The first series was just a brilliant space opera, the mecha & other military hardware were just tools & set pieces to the storytelling really..I Don't really think frontier has any of the charm of the original series & the 3D Valkyrie's look like they belong in the intro to a PS1 game i'd rather see good hand drawn animation myself..But for me it was never just about big dumb robots smashing other big dumb robots..

Frontier's isn't over yet- it may go the way OF THE SPACE WHALES. Though I doubt it will. But either SDF or Zero is my favourite- I couldn't engage with the characters as much so far.
