Its a very controlled type of sparring, so I think it would work against you training like this when it comes to real life. You get used to holding back power / showing control that it might work against you in a brawlI never said martial arts in general doesnt help you in a street fight. If you pull your head out of your ass you can see I said below:"But obviously the benifits of martial arts can help you on the streets (body conditioning, increased reflex speed etc)"
