Have you seen the video? If so, you'd grasp that her sluring and distant expression aren't attributable to cocaine use. It's a stimulant. It doesn't cause slurred speech. Alcohol or certain meds do. Coke produces an ephemeral keenness and one would come off sharp, not dull/slurred. ALSO, she was a very intelligent woman: educated; she also taught journalism. Rather than illuminate your ignorance, go out and try to replicate her accomplishments. You probably are not a media pioneer, are you?

anybody who has the utterly disgraceful ignorant and tactless nature to remark on her use of cocaine or any other substance-- licit or illicit, is simply demonstrating his lack of understanding of what substance abuse truly is. Beyond this, he or she fails to comprehend American Culture at this time period. Cocaine was not only widely used by many celebrities, politicians and professionals, but nearly condoned. It was a ubiquitous phenomena. You cannot summarize a life and career this way.
