these comments are hilarious, yanks defending their star players from guys who play in a crumbling league.i know its hard to admit patty mills made your stars look like shit but since chris paul broke the scroing /assist record it doesnt matter am i right?basketball is a joke in this country yet we still succeed at it. aussies personified.we can still make your league as a 6th rank sport. shit maybe its 7th/8th these days.

Don't get me wrong...I'm a proud Australian and very proud of our basketball team and how they battled it out against the US at the Olympics. But put your money where your mouth is. Would you have bet $200 for an Australian win?

Rugby isnt our biggest sport, at professional level its AFL (aussie rules footy) but at alround player numbers it is actually basketball.

if they've shown themselves to be the best in the world undeniably then they'll win the World Champs... cause at the moment they're the Olympic champions, not the world champions... they've only won 1 of the past 5 world champs

are u serious Mbantua? every one in the world new that USA shouldve killed us on paper without Bogut. Australia could very well have won that game, the heart we showed in that game was incredible. Think about how many kids grow up playing bball in USA compared to Aus, of course countries have different sporting backgrounds. Never the less we play an incredible match and dont say we didnt

People should take it easy. Australia was never going to beat the US. But if it was rugby union, the US would never beat Australia. Countries are stronger in different sports. |
