Lets hope the US can aford to get the ISS finished by the time they retire the Shuttle in 2010 so the Russians can take full advantage of the 100 Billion dollar ISS. The Russians may even be kind enough to take US astronauts to it between 2010 and 2015 if the US shuts up about Georgia.

We're building and paying for ISS, but Russia & China will get control of it when we "retire" (deliberately dismantle) the shuttle. Then they will have an orbiting weapons platform from space, paid for by us, we will be bankrupt, they will control it. Wake up America.

Okay, sit back and think for a minute, If the money that all the nations are supposedly wasting on this project didn't go into building the I.S.S do you really think the money would be all put into hospitals, schools, and vacinations for diseases in poor countries...Yes of course there is alot of problems in the world that need more attention, but more than likely all that money would be put to more sinister projects of military purposes in every country that contributed to this project...

Good one rodneyjohnwoods ! Lets all give up our lifestyle and science just because some people are worse off. Lets feel sorry for those who decided to ruin their lives through laziness, drugs bad decisions etc. Lets feel sorry for backward nations who decided to wage war on each other and give up everything for weapons to kill each other. Lets all live in caves so we are all equal ! You sir should lead the way, just pick the best cave you can find and crawl right in ! All problems solved right ?

I know! Silly people and their scientific advancements. Who would want that?! I wish I could go back to when blood-letting was the supposed cure of most diseases, who needs laboratories and science?! Pricks.
