This is a video showing off progress in Mupen64GC aka WiiN64 or Wii64 as of svn version 315.It is running on a Gamecube, so there are ROM Cache loads (the blue bar) in large (bigger than 96mbit) ROMS. Also, it's only using the pure interpreter for now, so naturally things are slow.(Sound is also off)This is still considered an alpha version so please hold back your OMGWTFBBQ, WHY IS IT SO SLOW? comments..Enjoy http://code.google.com/p/mupen...

Well not as of yet, between the time I asked and now I've had the opportunity to use it for myself. Although it boots most games which is very impressive they run incredibly slow and not worth playing until frame rate is up at least 5FPS.

Since Banjo-Kazooie uses a microcode for graphics which is more complex than Super Mario 64' s, it takes a bit more to boot and also it runs a bit slower. Hopefully Wii64 team will improve the CPU interpreter soon.

thnx for the responce, and ya, it is a .z64..oh well.. Maybe I didnt wait long enough for it to start up?..I'll just wait till this Wii64 gets faster

You can find a Homebrew channel compatible version on mupen64gc' s Google Code page

is your rom in big endian format? (.z64)Byteswapped (.v64) and little endian (.n64) are partially supported only and Banjo-Kazooie.z64 is booting for me. Convert ROMs between these byte formats using Tool64 (not Toad' s tool 64, which is another thing). Hope this helps

Hey, I;m playing this on may Wii.. WIth the Homebrew Channel.. Is it slower for me? Or wut, Cause I see that you have Banjo Kazooie.. I tried to load it up, (which it did).. But when it got to the black screen.. Nothing. :\Is the Homebrew Channel version of it inferior to yours? Assuming you have gotten Banjo to working "somewhat" on it?
