Why meditate? Because while meditating you relax, experience a sense of well-being and centeredness in your body and a welcome respite from being caught up in the chatter in your head and obsessed with the problems in your life. Gradually the effects of meditation will permeate into your everyday experience: increased serenity and ease of relating, ability to concentrate more, sharper senses, awareness and intuition and a deeper sense of yourself that is totally satisfying.
